The Ameraucana Breeders Club is pleased to announce that
our South East director, Barbara Campbell, has placed the 2010 National
Meet with the Bluegrass Poultry Association. The meet will take place
in Frankfort, KY on October 23, 2010 at Lakeview Park.
Below is the winning proposal received from the BPA:
The Bluegrass Poultry Association would like to submit the following proposal to host the 2010
National Meet of the Ameraucana Breeders Club. The Club show will be held
Saturday October 23, 2010 at Lakeview Park in Frankfort, KY.
The
following package will be offered to your club if you would like for us to
host the event.
- BPA will provide trophies or plaques offered to Best and
Reserve Large and Bantam Ameraucana.
- BPA will offer a $1 rebate per Ameraucana entered up to 100
birds
- BPA will offer a meeting space for the Ameraucana Breeders
Club yearly meeting.
- BPA will offer tables for club meets
- BPA will reserve a block of rooms at our preferred hotel, Best
Western Parkside Inn. 2009 rates were $66.60 per night.
- BPA will place Ameraucana breed first to be judged to allow
time in the afternoon for club activities/meetings
- BPA will advertise the meet in the Poultry Press and on the
club website.
The Bluegrass Poultry Club members are dedicated to providing a good show to all
exhibitors. We hope that you will consider us for hosting your National
